PROCEDURE OF REGISTRATION OF NEW FISHING BOATS/CRAFTS.

1. Application for Registration.
2. Declaration of ownership on Rs.20/- Stamp paper affixing photographs and should be solemnly affirmed before Oath Commissioner.
3. Declaration Form builder.
4. Photocopies of C.N.I.C.(Computerized National Identity Card) of owner/builder.
5. Engine Purchase Receipt (printed), if imported then copy of Custom Bill of entry duly cleared along with original.
6. The owner must be present with his valid original CNIC and shall show it to surveyor of Mercantile Marine Department, Karachi.

1. Measurement /Engine survey and deposit of fee.
2. Payment of Registration fee for the issuance of registration number.
3. Engraving or painting of registration number report shall be submitted by tape holder prior issuance of registration certificate. The fishing boats whose Overall Length is 12 meters or above Registration Certificate shall be issued after LSA/FFA survey.
